Norman Veber's 1929 Ford Pickup
(click the image to go back)
When building this model sometime between 1966 and 1968,
Norman had all his subassemblies ready when he was best
by technical difficulties that prevented him from attaching
the miniature barn door hinges to the doors (the epoxy
adhesives available to him at that time wouldn't hold
the metal hinges to the plastic doors and kept breaking
off). He packed it away until technology could catch up
with him and his plans. The model stayed in storage exactly
as you see it above until 2008 when Norman was inspired
to complete it so he could display it at a recent Endless
Summer themed Central Pennsylvania Model Car Club
(CPMCC) picnic.
