Tommy Kortman's 1940 Ford Moonshine Runner
(click the image to go back)
Anyone running moonshine needs a lot of torque and horsepower
to stay ahead of the Feds. This large Cadillac mill provides
plenty of both. Along with Tommy's weathering skills,
you also see in this photo a very nifty trick he used
to acheive the proper compound shape for the photoetched
grille. He sanded smooth the original plastic grille piece,
painted it flat black, and used it as a base for the metal
part.
