February Meeting Photos:
Scenes from the meeting:
Kenny and Kevin Kovach set up this loving tribute
to their father and grandfather, Emil, who very recently
passed away. The display included two of Emil's models,
a red 1964 Buick Riviera, and a baby blue 1974 Cadillac
Eldorado.
Brian Schindler built this replica of the Street
Trucks Magazine August 2015 cover truck.
Rick Donovan displayed this trio comprising
a tunnel-rammed 1957 Chevrolet, 1950 Ford Gasser, and
a rear-engined 1966 Barracuda Funny Car.
Dave Schmitt brought this quartet comprising
a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442, Porsche 356 convertible,
1969 Dodge Dart, and 1947 Chevy Aeroback Sedan.
Duane Hinton displayed this blown, big block
1970 Chevelle.
The card with this custom 1959 El Camino and 1949 Ford
sedan drag racer said they were built by Ron Thorpe
in 1963 at the age of 16.
Lyle Willits built these 1958, 1959, and 1960
Corvettes back in the 1990s. The 1958 was built straight
from the Monogram Pro-Modeler kit. The 1959 and 1960
were built using the Replicas and Miniatures Company
of Maryland's resin conversion kits that he mastered.
Bob Guarino brought a handful of MOPAR projects.
Dave Redzensky displayed this pair of asphalt
racers.
Nick Sickle showed his plunder from down under
- a pair of Holdens from Hot Wheels.
Steve Buter presented three builds.
Leonard Harrod showed his latest Pro-Street
project that he's building for our upcoming Mid-Atlantic
NNL's Drag and Drive Theme category.
Tim Sickle is starting in on a 1965 Mercury Comet project.
Howdy Hoffman displayed ten Funny Cars.
The Pontiacs on Parade parking lot had some
projects just getting started.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see who placed these fine builds on the display tables.
