Our members have an abundance of talent; many of them have been
recognized in automotive modeling magazines or written
columns and articles for them.
We publish a monthly newsletter that is available to club members,
local hobby shops, kit manufacturers, model magazines,
aftermarket suppliers, and other model car clubs around
the nation. And you, too, can read it for free by downloading
it in .pdf format.
An address, phone, and email directory of all regular attendees
is available to promote communication between club members between
meetings for support and advice.
We are a recognized Region 2 Chapter of the International
Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS/USA).
We have established the annual Mid-Atlantic
NNL as a national-level model car show and swap
meet, drawing vendors and patrons from as far away as
New England, Florida, and Puerto Rico. It originated in
the small community hall of a Volunteer Fire Department,
but quickly grew. Today, the Mid-Atlantic NNL is held
in spacious facilities at the Level Volunteer Fire Company
in Havre de Grace, MD.
We actively participate in the annual Toys for Tots drive in
our area, and are long-time financial supporters of the
National
Model Car Builder's Museum.
